About the event

Women’s Nature-Based Embodiment Workshop in Stroud, UK

This work is for women ready to create change in themselves, their communities, and the world. This nature-based workshop in Stroud, Gloucestershire supports change makers, coaches, healers and purpose-led women to reconnect with themselves, realign with what matters, and create the life and impact they are here for.

If you feel stuck in constant doing, overthinking or overwhelm, or if your nervous system feels stressed or dysregulated, this somatic and nature-guided experience offers a chance to slow down and access your holistic intelligence. This includes the embodied and intuitive knowing that sits alongside the intellect.

Through somatic movement, embodied inquiry and Clare’s TreeMap™ process, you will:

  • Make grounded, confident decisions aligned with your values and with Nature

  • Access a calmer inner authority rather than acting from urgency or reactivity

  • Reconnect with your creative capacity and full life force

Begin to speak with the authority of Nature, rather than speaking for Nature.

Trees are central to this work, not symbolically but as living systems that offer stability, perspective and regulation. This women’s nature and embodiment workshop in Stroud supports participants to move beyond limiting patterns, step more fully into their power, and bring their talents and purpose into service for Life, Nature and Earth.

How the Day Works

10:00am – Arrival, opening circle, check-in & refreshments

10:30am – Somatic movement with Jesse

Simple, accessible movement to help you settle your nervous system and arrive physically and mentally.

11:00am – Body Compassing with Clare

An embodied practice that helps you recognise and trust physical signals as guidance, rather than defaulting to mental loops or external opinions.

12:00pm – Lunch break - bring & share

1:00–3:00pm – TreeMap work with Clare

Clare’s TreeMap is a constellation-style, embodied process that supports insight and clarity through felt experience rather than analysis. You’re invited to bring a real question and explore it in relationship with the Trees as steady, non-judgemental reference points.

3:00pm – Shake-out & relaxation with Jesse

A chance to integrate, release tension, and let what’s shifted settle in the body.

3:30pm – Closing circle & checkout

4:00pm – Finish & depart

About the Collaboration

Clare is a coach and facilitator working 1:1 and with groups, online and in person. She supports people who feel called to change something meaningful, but who don’t want hype, pressure, or abstract self-development.

Her work focuses on helping people reconnect with their own intuitive embodied wisdom and the vast intelligence of nature. To help move beyond limiting patterns that keep them small or stuck. Trees are central to this work - not symbolically, but as living systems that offer stability, perspective, and regulation.

The TreeMap process grew out of Clare’s own long-term relationship with Trees and functions as a practical framework for inquiry, reflection, and embodied insight.

Jesse’s somatic movement work underpins the day, creating the conditions for clarity by supporting regulation, presence, and physical awareness.

Why Trees?

Working with Trees isn’t abstract or symbolic - it’s deeply regulating for the nervous system and has measurable effects on mental, emotional, and physical health.

Research consistently shows that time spent in woodland environments supports wellbeing in tangible ways:

  • Mental health: UK Forest Research has found that spending time in woodlands reduces anxiety and depression, contributing to an estimated £185 million per year in mental health cost savings.

  • Emotional wellbeing: Research by the Woodland Trust and the University of Kent shows that 90% of people report improved mood and overall wellbeing from woodland sights, sounds, and smells.

  • Physical regulation: Studies from Chiba University in Japan show that just 15–40 minutes in a forest can lower cortisol levels by 13–16%, reduce pulse rate by 4–6%, and increase parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) nervous system activity by around 56%.

When the nervous system settles, clarity improves. This work intentionally uses the stabilising effect of Trees to create the conditions for insight, perspective, and embodied decision-making.

This day isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone else. It’s about creating the conditions where you can hear what you already know.

The Trees are calling. The question is whether you’re ready to listen.
